my dad is such a high guy

    Happy new year blades. 2011 should be the SHIT!

    So after a good wake and bake in the shower, being that it's the new year, i go to my room to stash all my LOOOT! Anyway, before i even get inside my dad stops me. He proceeds to ask about some sort of "burning" smell in my car.

    I'm standing there like "WTF?". I start to think that he's hinting, to me, to stop smoking in my car because it reeks of bud:p. Not the case though. He explains that something in my car is burning.We start to discuss possible problems with my car. He thinks it's the water and goes to check.



    Not even a hour later, he knocks on my door. He starts to explain that he "might" of left parking brake on, while driving.

    I just start to bust out laughing, because i couldn't help but notice that my dad looked stoned as FUCK.ahaha.


    What a high guy mistake!

    When I went to my parents for Christmas my dad asked me 4 times in about 15 minutes if I wanted to go smoke a joint after dinner.

    Gotta love them Original Hippies :smoke:

    I wish my parents were cool with it :(

    especially my dad. He always encourages me to drink!! But is so against weed! And I hate alcohol!! (ok I don't hate it, but I hardly ever drink to get drunk, I just most of the time feel sick when I do).

    I just don't get it. He's more than willing to let me drink alcohol (poison), that kills so many people per year, but would absolutely murder me if he found out I smoked weed. [The amount of times he tries interrogates me is ridiculous, and all the pep talks :mad: ]

    I like spending the holidays at my one friends ranch. His dad and grandpa are both old hippies and although his grandpa doesn't toke with us kids he's still a warm vibe when you see him wander from his own house to the hot tub. anyhow though his dad is always up to weird shit.

    That sucks man. Like honestly, i can't believe your dads cool with drinking, but not toking. Has he ever smoked ganja? I mean, i totally take a doobie over beer.

    haha awesome, dads seem to be more cool about it than moms. when my dad figured out i smoked weed, which was like a month after i started because he was a total stoner in his day, he just started giving me a bunch of stoner music that he used to listen to

    Yeah, he told me he tried it but felt so sick from it. (such parent bullshit. my mom said the same thing when I was younger but she admitted to me recently she has a smoke every few months after we had a big fight when she caught me). My dad tells stories of his family using marijuana, and how "scary" it is.

    He's always on my case, suspecting I smoke. really pisses me off. I just want to tell him.. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD FREELY GIVE ME A POISON AND NOT SOMETHING THAT IS LEGALLY REGARDED AS A MEDICINE!!"

    But hey.. he's the type that just WOULDN'T accept these facts.

    I remember walking in to his room when they were not home when I was 9 or 10 and seeing a light coming from the closet. Naturally, I had to investigate. I saw some plants in there, but had no idea what they were, just thought "damn my dads weird."

    A couple weeks later I was on my AOL account (Yeah buddy, back when everyone and they momma dialed up to AOL :rolleyes:). I walk away and come back a few minutes later and didn't notice he changed screen names to his. When I go to favorites, amongst all the porn, is a couple links to "grow journals."

    Took me a minute of reading to grasp what was going on, then... :confused:...:(...:eek:...:hello:

    I'll probably be one too, but hopefully in the future, of course. lol.

    Hmm, that's pretty sick of him. My dad and I like different music. He likes a lot of 70's. But he did expose me to Bob Marley at a young age, which i thank him for.

    That sucks, man. Try showing him The Union. If he can hold his opinion after seeing that, then weed indeed makes him sick.


    Nice! That's pretty awesome that your dad grows. I wish my dad did. I'm tired of buying weed for so much. Did he show you how to grow, atleast?

    He passed on the green thumb through our veggie garden first, then helped me apply it to pot when I got older. He's a space cadet, for sure, but I couldn't have been luckier :smoke:
