My crop was destroyed. By whom?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by growincel, Aug 21, 2018.

  1. This was my first experiment with guerilla outdoor growing - in a secret spot in a forest.
Today i found 4 of my 5 plants killed. Bitten off from the top.
I suspect deer. I saw some running by a few meters from me once. They didn't even notice me.
    Or what do you think?
What can i do to prevent this next year? Building a fence or something is not possible.

The tallest plant in the back (over 4 feet) survived. Only branches on the bottom are missing. Probably too high to to eat the top.

What an upleasant surprise. Some of the plants looked promising. Like this one.

  3. since the very first stoner

we have had to deal with

    Cops Mold and Rippers

IMO: save ya pee and at each visit pour jugs of your pee around the area

nuke it more so after a rain

    and consider wire netting

    good luck

  4. Actually, human urine isn't that effective. If you have a dog, try collecting it's urine, if that seems a bit unpleasant, or you don't have a dog, they make a coyote urine that you can buy and make sure that you spread it around your plants. :) Good luck!!

  5. moth balls and cayenne pepper. Not for sure on the moth balls ole wifes tell but hey can't hurt.
the pepper gets in the ground and they don't like the smell. Use especially when small and ground hogs are digging em up.
    will slow the deer too

  6. It seems like the deer like the buds, odd. I wonder if they got high?

  10. Sorry, don't understand. You feed them your old plants? Why?

    Blood meal sounds good.

  19. I don't shoot the ones in my back yard either.
I did have to go to a PSE with 60lb limbs for the shoulder too.
I'm shooting 53lbs and am getting use to it. A long way from when I shot for several different bow companies and all the ASA, Cabela's, and some IBO tournaments
I mostly now carry a camcorder and film my son hunting

  20. Get a bar of Irish spring soap and put it in a dark color sock and hang it up near your patch..
