I've got 8 plants going, 3x 28 watt CFLs with reflectors, water every 3 days, no nutes, Miracle Grow Soil. The plants are about 1 month, 2 weeks old and I just put them into flowering Tuesday night. They had suffered a good amount of nute burn from my old MG soil, but have been replanted into new MG soil and are doing well. All green growth, thickening stems, shooting more leaves out. Not bad, damaged as you already know, and a little on the tall side without enough side shoots. How close do you keep your CFL's? So you went from MG soil to MG soil? What kind are they in now?
They were in organic, and are now in MG potting soil. The CFLs are about 2-4 inches away from the plants, but have been raised up before and that caused the stretching. I don't really have the money or resources to get any better soil, and we have a crapload of MG around the house. Oh, and while they were in the organic, all of the yellowing and burning happened.
