Aight so I got 6 CFL 26w 2700k bulbs(can i grow without the 6500k?) light are on 24 will this burn out the bulb? Mids bagseed temp at 80f regular potting soil 7 days old as of tuesday, june 8, 2010 Im wondering if the shelf is not letting all the light get to the plants or if their is better affordable way to improve this Micro grow Any help would be greatly apprecieated Update---Day 8--- today I went to the store to buy 3 y-connectors & 8 14w 6500k CFLs (For the veg stage) Now we have 9 CFLs One of them is a 26w 2700k I changed the position of the lights from above the shelf to below. When the plants get taller I'm just going to adjust self level. I also added a Flap of Mylar to the grow so it has 3 walls instead of 2.
You can veg with 2700k i am but you need more light for the amount of plants you have you can already see a lot of stretching and the lights are too far away from them too cfls should be around 3-4in just dont burn your leaves, good setup but room wil be limited to you when they get older
