My changing point in life

  1. There are changing points in life.

The event, that changes your life.

The time, when it could have gone either way.

It could have been one thing.

Or it could have been another.

And that point in my life ... was ...

    The day I was born.

  2. Isn't almost every decision you make in your life a changing point?

  3. It is.

But not something that will rock my world... just some minor shit.

Like what to eat for breakfast.

What does it matter what I eat? Just eat!

  4. Every decision makes a huge change in your life, you just don't realize it. You could have eaten something that made you sick and then later on in the day instead of getting to work on time, you were late because you had to throw up. Being late caused you to get fired which caused your wife to leave you etc.

You never know how much different your day/life could be just by making one small, seemingly, insignificant decision.

  5. True.

    I tell you...

20 years ago, a gas tank truck lost its brakes and rammed into jam packed intersection.

The gas exploded and killed everyone in the radius of about... 50 meters. Some people survived the initial blast, but most died eventually.

And there was a line, that divided the roads in two sides.

If you're in one side, you're alive.
If you're in the other side, you're dead.

The guy who left the office a bit later than usual because he had to take a leak, survives the blast. He was 2 cars into the 'alive' zone.

The guy who cut the line and got off the parking lot earlier, is later burnt to death because he was 5 cars into the 'dead' zone.

    I don't know man....

The gas tank explosion is in fact a true story. But the rest is just my imagination.

  6. Dont forget death...

  7. You scared the shit out of me. Fucking creepy the way you said that... with your pictures and shit....

Yes... death... how can I foget...

  9. Bravo! :hello:

    Good shit!!!

  10. We all immensely change.. at the brink of drastic measures.

  11. that Mona Lisa is awesome!!! gotta save that lol

  12. At the end of THAT day, I would just assume I fucked my karma up somewhere along the time :)

"Why did your wife leave you?"
"Well let me start at the beginning, I had leftover pizza for breakfast...."

  13. but where did they bury the survivors?

  14. It is extremely rare for a small decision to make a huge change in ones life. So saying every decision makes a huge change in your life isn't a true statement, at least I believe so.

  15. Sweet story :) I got a kinda lamer one, but similar.

I'm working out at the gym at my local rec center, me and a few kids. I'm pumping some iron....or maybe checking out the girl on the treadmill...can't remember which, when all of a sudden BLAM!!!!!!!!! It sounds like a bomb goes off.

There's a window where you can see into the lobby, and I see a car barreling toward the front desk, and if it should make it through the front desk, directly into the gym. Kinda like a bitch I leaped off to the side while everyone else stood dumbfounded :) The car smashed into the front desk and came to a stop.

It was eh....maybe 6:59 PM, and the little kids karate class let out at around 7pm, and every night when it did they SWARMED the lobby area that the car just plowed through. Because the class was a few minutes from being let out nobody was in the lobby except one little girl who got a scrape on her leg, and the ladies behind the front desk, who basically probably watched their lives flash before their eyes, but were unhurt.

But like 1 minute later, and that car would have taken out like 20 kids.

The driver was an old lady who pulled into her parking space too fast, and went to slam on the break but hit the gas instead. She held that shit down for a good 8-10 seconds as she jumped a yellowing parking block, a curb, plowed across some grass, and then plowed through the front window/wall of the building.

  18. Yes, thats a movie, and a rare phenomenon.

  19. I was going for the phenomenon part more than the movie.

  20. Yeah its actually a theory I believe.
