My cabinet design..

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by jaryd123, Dec 28, 2014.

  1. So after using the small cabinet with CFLs for my first grow, I decided I wanted to go a little more upscale for the second. Mind you, its no tent or big to say the least, but I think it will do great for what I want.

Lighting- 400w Mars II LED (will be here tomorrow)

Used elastomeric roof coating for walls (90% reflective rate)

Intake/Exhaust- intake is provided by 2 2" PVC lines running off the bottom right side of cabinet. Painted flat black on inside and out to block light. (Will run power cords out of one to keep me from drilling more holes) Exhaust is located on the top with 4" ducting that will be connected to a 120cfm duct fan, and then to a 4" DIY carbon filter.(ducting will be cut to size when my fan arrives Will also use a couple small desk fans for inside circulation.

Lined entire door with weatherstripping and have two pulling latches that will pull the door closed to seal.

As seen, I will eventually use the bottom as a cfl veg chamber when I put these in flowering.

Let me know whatcha think and if there is anything I should change or add.

  2. Could use "abs" plastic pipe and fittings as its already black

  3. This is true. But plain PVC is dirt cheap lol
