So I tried searching this topic with no results that were helpful. I have 9 big beautiful ladies, all about a week from chop, they all have great big nice beautiful colas, full of crystals, smell like the most wonderful blueberries after a skunk sprays them, and are full to the MAX with seeds. My first thought was to buy a rope and try to remember how to tie a noose... Than I thought maybe this isn't so bad, I can do other things with it right? Hash of all kinds!!! and I have seeds, TONS of them... What does everyone else do when the unspeakable happens? is there any reason I shouldn't make hash out of the entire plants? (after I pick out enough seeds for me) also, is there a good market for seeds from an amature? I can only assume they are femmed seeds since there is no males around, and my neighbor is an MMJ patient as well with no seeds. What type of medium; soil or hydro? Hydro type (Aquaponics) What brand and type of soil? lava rocks, rinsed well Indoors or outdoors? Indoors What strain? Blueberry Kross (Indica), Blue Dream (heavy indica hybrid), Skywalker (50/50 hybrid), WTF (50/50 hybrid), Tumbili Mfalme Mzungu (Sativa) How old are the plants? 7 weeks 4 days into flower, I lost track in veg. somewhere around 2 months, they're good sized plants, I just wasn't ready at the time to switch to 12/12 What type of lights and how many watts? veg room: ~500 watt 4' 8 bulb T5 always on. Flower room: 2 1000 Watt HPS on 12/12 How far from the lights? most of the vegetation in the flower room is around 30 inches, no shooters are less than 18 inches What is your watering frequency and source of water? constant flow with bell siphons, ebb and flow style, city water that has sat open for more than 24 hours, PH of city water is 7.0 What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? Fish crap, worm castings, unkown as they live in the system, "Grandma's" Blackstrap Molasses (unsulfured) What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro? it stays around 7.0 and ppm are unknown What are the temps and humidity in the room? the last month has been bad on them, spikes in the 90's temp wise, and humidity has fluctuated from ~30% to ~80% What size pots? 6" net pots in enclosed table (no light gets to the pots) so roots are free to grow, and they do, BIG Any bugs? Look real close. This area is bad for having mites and affids, so I keep lots of lady bugs in both rooms at all times... I just keep buying more as they die off. Any other pertinent info? The stuff I dried already and picked out the seeds is pretty dank!
All is not lost, you may start a new tray of babies sooner than later, grab a sieve and rub the remaining heads to separate the seeds from head, retain the head for smoking and bag the seeds for later use. From the above post ..you have a great setup, but allowed a lady to "HERM" some hows, and this is you current and future problem, check for light leaks, or a serious change in the plants behavior, over the last month or so, check your grow journal....You do have a grow journal...?? Forget the rope it's all NYLON these days anyway, you'll do a good job decapitating your self before breaking your neck...lol, easier to keep a journal. peace "V"
Thanks for the input! I have found that even though this is FULL of seeds, EVERYONE LOVES IT!!! one guy I know that is very picky, called me up again this morning for more... he said it's good enough bud that it's worth the time picking out the seeds, especially since they all look to be great seeds (very deep colors, hard but not solid). There is a LOT of seeds though, I picked through an 1/8th and found 43 seeds.
