My ballast!!!!!

    Ok. My ballast stopped working yesterday. It was fine.....then nothing all of a sudden. I am mid grow.

    It is a 1000 watt hps ballast. Anyone got any suggestions!? I'm screwed I think.

    Does it have a fuse?

    I don't think so. I don't see one. I opened it up and I don't see anything that resembles a fuse.

    and I guess you've checked the outlet?

    yea man, sounds like you're screwed.

    Did we clear up whether it's a magnetic or electronic ballast ? How old is the ballast/ bulb ? Where you in the room when it went out ?
