  1. I reallly need some help here guys, im almost into week 4 and my babies are suffering bad. im pissed as shit. i got pics sort of but ill have better ones. I kno for a fact its a magnease defficiency.

Some leaves have speckled dead spots. some brown dried up leaves. all the charachteristics are there including the low humid area 20%

Im in veg using a 400w Mh and a 150w hps.

    the relative temps are 75-80

None of my ntues have this in it. a buddie has some tiger bloom i was reading had traces of mn but im worried it cause more problems using it to fix my very own problem.

And also my freind has these adult nutrient pills that have literally every nutrient that plants thrive off of. i was wondering if i used one or two of these in water then ph'd it so only mn and a few other trace elements could be uptaken and then water my plants...

Im just worried that this mn deffiencey will be the downfall of my babies. and i have a lot of time / money invested in this grow. i kno its a learning experience and all but i kno if i can beat this deficiency its smooth saillin from here.

    Additional info:
Soil: 50/50 coco fiber / pro mix.
relative soil ph and water ph 6.5
    relative temps 75-80
Strain: White Whidow x Blueberry and Kush x buddah

  2. First off, the symptoms you describe could be any of several ailments or nute deficiencies, you gotta get up some pics.

The first thing to look at for fixing a suspected nute def is pH -- the whole point of pH is that there is a range where the plant can uptake nutrients and outside of that pH range the plant cannot uptake certain nutrients, no matter how much of the needed nutrient is in the soil. But at a pH of 6.5 you should be good. Is that the pH of the runoff?

Always good to flush when you suspect a nute def and/or pH imbalance before trying to fix anything. Get some pics up to help with the diagnosis.

  3. Thanks toasty, deffinetly happy and greatful to have you helping me out on this one man. Ive seen you around quite a lot and i know you are a great grower by all means..

But as far as the pics go, it will have to wait till about 8ish tonight (est. time)

But the 6.5 is actually the soil runoff of the plants when they were in cups during week 2.

now they are in 2gal pots btw. i noticed the splotches starting during the 3rd set of leaves on week 2. At that point the roots had grown thru the bottom of my cups and i needed to emergency transplant. Also, I had temp problems during week 1. the plants actually germed and grew in 58-63F degree temps during the first 3-4 days. i then fixed the problem to a steady 75*.

All i could think was it had soemthing to do with the roots. but once i get pics up for you i kno you will be able to help me a lot better.

    Thanks again brotha,
    ps. nice to meet ya.

  4. Good to have the additional history. Your little babies have been through quite a lot for their first couple of weeks.

With all that has gone on, to be honest it is hard to tell, even once pics are up, what the particular problem is. Nute def, pH whacked, low temps, rootbound, other issues, or all of the above.

Sounds like you have gotten most things stabilized. Check the pH now that they are in larger pots. Best course of action may be to just not make any more changes for a few days, just see if the plants are over-stressed and need a chance to get used to stable, favorable conditions.

And meant to ask, by say Mn deficiency are you suspecting magnesium or manganese?

  5. I was thinking manganese. You said something about epson salt, were you thinkin magnesium?

J/w i really want these to go good.

White whidow x blueberry omfg haha.

Pics will be up for you tomorrow toasty. runnin a lil late on sleep rite now, gutta be up by 4am for work. but ill get rite to it for you man. i really really appreciate it.

    +rep brotha
