Hello everyone, Just wanted to list my experience with autos so far. Purchased from a reputable seedbank and germinated 1st December 2022. By mid January 2023 no flowers so had to go 12/12 and been on that schedule since. Now coming towards end of April and still no signs of finishing up. All clear heads no cloudy or even hint of Amber. By end of April I will have been messing with these autos for 5 months and each one looks 2oz maximum. Fair to say that I will not be messing with autos ever again in my life lol. I hope this helps anyone thinking about going down auto route. From my experience don't bother. Peace eastman
Autos should pull 4-6poz if not more. 2oz the grower did something to inhibit growth. Could have had photos by mistake those pull double what a auto pulls minimum. Good luck with your future grows. If you've been growing since 2009 that sucks, atleast you probably have alot in the weed bank.
Never understood why anyone would want to grow auto's. They aren't good for beginners, the grower has no control over flower, cloning them is possible but good results are not guaranteed, therefore one seed gets you exactly one plant, where a photo could be cloned for years if one so chose. If one can figure out how to change their light timer from 18/6 to 12/12 then they have no need for autoflowers. Yield wise, with photos one can control the yield to an extent by using a longer veg time combined with various training techniques. Happy growing.
Yeah man like I said first time and never again. Been growing a little while now with all different systems but always photo strains. If I'm meant to be getting 4oz standard but only getting 2 then I must be doing something wrong but for the life of me cannot figure out what. Read so many auto grows and copied their feeding schedule. Agree with all points sweedlight has listed. At least I tried and didn't like it so will never have to wonder if i tried ...... Anyways guys thanks for looking in. If anyone got any insights feel free to add to this thread.
