After going through a good amount of threads on here, I decided to give it one more try. On my first grow, the seeds sprouted right away and did very well, for about three weeks. Them some ugly, big, green word invader came and infested my crop. Second attempt, too much heat, not enough air circulation. Third attempt started yesterday and so far, after planting seeds that had been soaked in water .... Great outcome. The ph and everything else is at a healthy reading (7-7.5). I have three different soils ( I call it soil) in three different containers. 1- started with Burpee Eco friendly cell seeds. Made from natural coconut fiber and germination sheets. 2- started with Ferry Morse organic seed starter mix. 3- started with a mixture of 1/2 Morse & 1/2 with Miracle Grow organic garden soil. Pics to follow .... The iPhone isn't being successful with pics.
