call of duty: modern warfare 3 and battlefield 3. two giants to be released very soon. which is higher on your list to buy? post why if ya could, but please, avoid flame wars and the usual fanboy preaching. personally, i love them both. but i have to say that this year battlefield 3 is a bit higher on my list and may become my game of choice.
I was a huge fan of BF2 when it came out, never really played Bad Company though. So I'm definitely getting BF3.
Was totally ignorant to battlefield and am embarrassed to say I bought modern warfare 2 and black ops. Then I bought Bad Company 2 during a steam sale and was totally blown away. I mean they do not even compare, one is just more mainstream and therefore gets more sales..
i figured somebody buying neither wouldn't be interested in the thread. and i just want a comparison of the two, which "neither" wouldn't help with. i only put both because i knew people would complain if i didn't lol.
You fuckers fucked up on the fucking poll... come on why not just buy both of them! I'm more of a fan of Call of Duty games and would generally spend more time, focus, and money into to, but I do like trying games like BF.
BF3 for the win. I love being able to actually fly planes and drive tanks. Battlefield is more of a team game to me which is what I enjoy. COD was cool, when the first one came out..
cause im sick of the gimmicks, that subscription shit they coming out with now the fact that by the time the next game comes out you'll have spent more money on DLCs of maps that they just decided not to release with the game at ship
I hate how Modern warfare has map packs that cost $15.00 each for some retarted ass CQB map in a different area. big whoop I also know that the cawll of dooty elite servisess will be costing monthly payments to use something DICE is making FREE for their users. Why spend close to 100$ on a peice of shit game
one of the biggest differences i noticed before when switching between mw2 and bc2 was the frames per second. mw3 will be keeping it's 60 fps, and bf3 will be keeping it's usual 30 fps on consoles to accommodate the high capacity maps. i don't mind the difference really. all's i noticed before was mw2 feeling much more "arcade-like", partly because of the 60 fps and small brutal maps, after playing a lot of bc2. with the lower frame rate it is harder to see, trace, and hit the little dots that are people across the map, however. lastly, i have a few friends that are vets back from the middle east and they say battlefield is somewhat more realistic, but i'm not sure that's the most important aspect to me as a gamer. vote on! i'm glad mw3 is getting some votes.
