Music That Plays In Your Head...

Yeah I get that. The thing is I know I do it, but can never remmeber the dam song once I sober up! But it's usually when my firend and I are going back and forth for a while on a cherry. So it's before I reach my peak. For me it's usually a song I was just listening to before my high. So Beatles most likely.

That crazy man. And yeah that has happened to me once but I was on acid and the music wouldnt stop and then I passed out . Not fun at all

 

happens to me quite often.. sometimes I hear beeping, sometimes it sounds like airplanes are flying over my house and a bunch of other stuff. I love it

 

you ever wonder what it would be like to have your own theme music for almost everything you did? who woud come up with that shit?

 

sometimes wen ppl say things to me or i hear a song and im high and its quiet for like 10 minutes it will seem like they just sed it to me or i just heard the song wen it was really like 15 minutes ago

Everytime I'm high and there's some background noise I hear music, but it's pretty much always you enjoy myself by phish, but not just a little but of the song, I hear the whole thing play from beginning to end and it's always the live version from new years eve 1995 so it's like 20 minutes long. It gets wierd sometimes because I really think the song's playing.

It would be like a tracker program but without the need for an interface. You would also be able to share your mental songs with others

I had read a book series a few years back called Otherland where a serial killer could conjure up his own beats within his head. So if he was on the hunt, he might put on some tribal music, or some jazz for planning music. It seems far fetch even five years back but not its not a matter of if but when.

I'm not sure if I hear music in my head when I'm high because there is always music playing outside my head.

Don't you know that all the great stoned out song writers are the one's that take the trouble to write it down and try to write the chords they are hearing. It is a gift from the Hemp God. have a tape recorder next to you and every time it happens try to sing what you are hearing. At first you won't get it but if you keep trying it gets better and better. If you don't know guitar or keyboard play the tape to a friend who does , if you work at it you will become a great songwriter if you don't it will stop by the time you reach 30.

 

I do hear music in my head and was wondering if I was the only one lol. Its normally that I think Im hearing an old ringtone or something that I used to listen to all the time.

Isn't it amazing though how your mind can store music, act as a dictionary, remember how to get places, be able to put names and faces together, judge within split seconds fast movements and reactions, dream, and pull off all the signals to have your body function correctly............ Amazing

 

Besides the dreaming part, computers can do everything as well. Faster and more efficiently then we can. Now that's amazing, and scary.

 

How is that amazing. We as a species are smarter than computers. We invented and created them- not the other way around

 

Very good point. I'm just saying that as I type into this machine that knows more than me, it scares me that it knows languages, and math, that I might never learn. Although a computer can never learn emotions, and I think emotions are the greatest gift a human (and other living creatures) is given.

Edit: Yes, we made them but there still faster and more effecient.

 

Actually, the average computer nowadays is smarter than an average human. Computers can translate any language into any other language. Do amazing mathematic equations. Pull up any information you could possibly need in under a minute. In essence a computer is a body, and the internet is its mind. Just as we pull information we have stored in our minds out, and recite it later. A computer does the same but with the internet. The thing thats truly sad though is that human knowledge is limited to replicating or altering things that we have already learned. Thats why no music or art is truly "original", they all have influences. Plus the whole statement of "We invented them, not the other way around" that made no sense. Thats like saying i cant become smarter than my father because he made me...not the other way around.




EDIT: In addition, with the recent advances in AI, its only a matter of time until the internet becomes aware of itself. At that point we will be fucked, because it will be far smarter than everyone combined.
