yea music is a lot better when you're high. there's some music I can't even listen to sober I have to be high to stand it. Weird but cool

Yeah man, I usually hate techno... but the weed makes it kinda bearable. Usually I listen to Techno-ized versions of epic songs when I'm high, such as this version of Fleetwood Mac's "You Can Go Your Own Way"

I think the reason music sounds better is because the weed changes your perception of sounds, thus letting you hear different parts of the music which interest you. For example, I was stoning to the album "Phobia" by Breaking Benjamin, and started to hear previously unnoticed beats and basslines in the song. It was epic.

 

I find that when listening to music high you can make out the sounds of the individual instruments instead of just hearing it as it is, or something...

Anyone else find that when listening to music high you feel as if the song was written just for you, or that the music was written solely for the purpose of listening to while high?

Here's something to try. Think about all the songs that you listened to growing up. Think about the albums your parents put on when you were 4 or 5. Now listen to those tracks stoned, it really takes you back, it's a wonderful feeling.
