If you notice a difference with plant growth with music. Please tell us how many fans you had per 4/4 foot area
Have done tent runs with music and without. The runs with music seemed to be slightly better/bigger. Generally classical music, but every now and then I'll switch to reggae. Will be using music from here on out. And on a side note, I'm going to use magnets this run to see if there is a difference.
I was big on Mozart before I moved I hate Mozart but the plants showed 15-20% improvement over early veg, I had crappy lights back then so anything good mattered, I soon swapped it out for jungle sounds birds etc from Yt ripped to my old mp3 player, not so fun, notice their but the classics as per the science from an American women done in the 1950s was good for me, others try either too bass or to hi notes that screw the plant some kiddy tv show from the 90's did a crappy investigation but that to was inconclusive, only that fuk Mozart did good but I don like the noise plants do Now I'm 'bigtime' I'll reinstall the jungle noises to the GR, see what happens
Several different vids online, one comparing placement north/south, etc. I'm gonna go with a ring magnet placed north up directly around my sprouts. I plan on using them the whole run, sprout to harvest. Will be curious to see any extra growth as seen online in a few vids.
Also i should ask. How many fans people had running in there rooms . My rooms had over kill full of fans . I wonder if people that noticed a difference with music had many fans or a handful .
Fans can get loud. I keep my exhaust wherever it needs to be for heat. Maybe 1/2 power during veg, full strength at flower. 1 6" for air movement, keep them leaves/stems moving a bit. And probably overkill but I run a stationary 6" aimed just under my light. I know not necessary for led's but just something I got used to doing. The tent does muffle some of the music, but still hear it from maybe 6-8 feet away.
this is a valid point, the advice I got was play the music as back ground but the fans have that in my GR, if I crank it up then music ain't background anymore, I'll try and cutback some fans, thats why I only play in early to mid veg less fans required
I'm going to be doing exactly this myself in the next few weeks, I can't believe there's someone else out there open minded enough to give something new a try so fair play to you! From the research I've done South should be pointing up tho? Maybe try one with North up and one with South up and see which works better? Also magnetize the water that you'll be giving them by placing a strong magnet on the tap as you fill your watering can this alone is supposed to give upto 20% more growth. Also do some research on grounding thats also supposed to have great results. As we speak I'm germinating some pumpkin seeds on a N52 Neodymium magnet as a little experiment to see if it speeds up germination before I start experimenting with expensive weed seeds. Please keep us posted on how you get on as I'm very interested in stuff like this, good luck!

I've decided that for one of my plants I will earth a ferrite ring magnet to ground, plant the seed in the middle, if there's anything to this 'grounding method' this should give it the best chance, ferrite doesn't rust and it will give it a greater surface area. We'll see.
I want to see a side by side . One with one without . please keep me up to speed You can make a post ill follow .
This was a Myth Busters episode - If i remember correctly, without watching it again, I believe heavy metal did the best.
