Music Helps to Grow?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Chief Native, Nov 22, 2010.

  1. I heard that some plants grow much faster and have higher yield if you play music or talk to them for a while regularly as they grow. Would that be the case for MJ? I tried this with another garden plant and it actually seemed to work! I played like 45-60 minutes of music every day and it seemed to be pretty beneficial. Though every plant is different...

    thanks guys! :p

  2. I can see talking to them helping only because you're adding CO2. Idk about music.

  3. I read something a long time ago about classical music having the best effect. Might go look that up again.

  4. plants are living things with vibrations
and yes i can speak from first hand they love music
    even bassin lloud hip hop
plants love constant bass (deep real bass, 808)

  5. hahaha im soo going tohave the kid cudi pumping in my closet once i get my grow started :D

    happy toking :bongin:

  6. i have one plant growing with music and one growing without i have thought about this my self

  7. Didn't Mythbusters have something like this a couple of years ago?

  8. watch the secret life of plants, they love music, the best music is classical, but universities have gone a step further to show that chirping crickets have the most positive impact on growth.

  9. Yeah they did but it was of such little evidence they busted it. I imagine if you blasted soundwaves of bass for the plant to physically shake, like wind similarities for as much time its in the sun/simulated light for the plants life were talking sooo much electricity, plus pissed off neighbors lol. Besides I could only see it helping the stalk and roots maybe, but in return of such it may make higher yield. Who knows until ya try right?

  10. Hmm busted? Well the C02 theory is right, but you cant ALWAYS rely on myth busters. But thanks for the heads up guys...anyone else have any opinions on this subject of matter?
