I'm going to buy some bags of mushroom compost and just wondering who has used this on their plants and what was the results of their buds?
Plants That Don’t Like Mushroom Compost (Good or Bad?) (helpmecompost.com) I've never tried it but I'd probably consider buying something else especially since I live in the southwest where the soil is alkaline.
I agree with @Cactus Ed. I wouldn't grow in it. I might use some as part of a soil mix, but a smaller amount, just for diversity. I had a source for some a few years back (local mushroom grower), and I sprinkled it all over my outdoor veggie beds. Google it up.
Oh yeah worms and rotten fruit are just 2 special ingredients I put in my custom soil mixes. Many more too. And yup of course just a small amount because I always make my custom ass soil mixes with as many special berry good ingredients as possible.
Just the all in ones soil mix is the best way to go. Everytime. Except vegetables in the compost portion that shit makes your nugs taste just straight grassy.
