Lol ya right. The IDF would crush Iran.

The IDF is one of the most advanced and capable fighting forces. Plus if Israel attacked, I think they would attack NATO troops in Afghanistan thus dragging the US into a war against Iran. With the combined strength of NATO/Israel Iran would crumble like Iraq. Wouldn't happen as fast but would happen.

Iran would probably give NATO/Israel a bloody nose though.

Iran is allied with China and Russia. I don't even want to consider the possible consequences of an attack on Iran.

On the contrary, it is quite the opposite. The Iranian army are used to subduing unarmed civilians, wheras the IDF are specialists at taking out specific targets with minimal collateral damage.

To such a high degree that through constant training and active operations, the IDF have gotten the enemy combatant to collateral damage ratio down to an incredible 10 to 1. 10 enemies dead for each civilian. Until recently (US forces have received training by IDF specialists) in Iraq and Afghanistan, collateral damage to enemy combatants have been as high as 30 to 1. That is, 30 civilians dead for each enemy dead.

The IDF is the 6th largest standing army. It have the best equiptment of any fighting force anywhere. The IDF operates constantly under combat conditions and trains incessantly. Iranian forces are rank amatours in comparison. With inferior equiptment, dated tactical training and amongst the rank and file very little motivation to give up their life for their mad mullahs. The regime is not what you'd call popular.

Though that is not to say that a strike against Iran would be a cakewalk without serious repercussions. Any military action opens a pandoras box of unwelcome surprises.

 

You seem to be misinformed. The government of Israel beleives they have the right to expand their borders through any means necessary. They clear out an area of Palestinian civilians by using the IDF to go in and kill them. There are many interviews with IDF soldiers whom refuse to follow orders and go back into Palestine because of the atrocities they are forced to commit.

Then once the civilians are killed or displaced, their homes and businesses are bulldozed and destroyed to make way for new Israeli infrastructure. This is nothing new, it has been going on for decades. Israel beleives they have the so callled god given right to do this.

Now yes, Israel does have a greater military than Iran, but not by a lot. Israel does have nuclear capability. They have nukes but will not let any other nation around them to have nuclear power, even for peaceful purposes. They attacked nuclear reactors in Iraq in 1981 and Syria in 2007. And the only reason Israel has nukes is because of commiting crimes and piracy. In 1965, Israel stole 200 pounds of weapons-grade uranium from the United States through its spies at the Nuclear Materials and Equipment Corporation company in Pennsylvania and in 1968 they hijacked a Liberian ship in international waters and stole its 200-ton shipment of yellowcake.

 

Israel is the U.S.'s little brother. As long as US taxpayer money is funneled into that country, they won't lose any war. USAF will turn the entire middle east to glass before losing a traditional war.
