Munchies Ruining Weed

  1. So before I've never really had a problem with munchies I usually would just eat what I want and it was always good, but know i've taken to smoking all day, if i dont control myself i end up eating like 10,000 calories (probably exaggeration) which is ridiculous, but know when i try not to eat when high, it just ruins my high :|?

    I dont have a problem with weight, i just think it's wayy too unhealthy, any really good tips for beating the munchies? I've trie a few like eating before but nothing..

  3. I'm trying, I'm always like yeah I won't eat unhealthy and when im sober it's fine, it's just when I'm high no matter how much I don't want to eat healthy, it's like fuck it :\
     
  4. I know the feeling and it can be tough. You don't want the weight though.

    Drink like four big glasses of water prior to smoking. At least it will give you a head start. Another trick, tell yourself before you smoke, that everytime you feel hungry just hit the bowl again.

    And Drink more water.

    You can do it!
     
  5. Hahaha Its hard for me to enjoy Dank sometime (I love it) But sometimes the Munchies and Sleepy effect are overwhelming,So High Mids it is:D

    It's like I'm paying Xtra just to be SUPER hungry and sleepy:(
     
  6. I alwayyyys get the worst munchies at night and its really starting to bother me cause its becoming a problem. I always tell myself i dont need to eat junkfood thn i just say fuck it and munch on EVERYTHING i hate it ):

  8. Yeah I'm going to try eating like 2/4 pieces of toast before I smoke too just to make sure I'm full and just keep drinking water and see how it goes.

    yeah I know what you mean man where you get that really good weed, and 2 hits later you just fall asleep.. D:

  10. Munchies only come to me with certain strains. I guess you over-come the munchies as your relationship with mary grows older and older :cool:.

    I have not "raided" my kitchen in a while :p :smoking:
     
  11. Tip: don't buy unhealthy food when you know you're going to smoke. If all you have in your fridge is healthy food, you won't be left with many options and you will eat healthy (unless you order pizza or something, but hey, it's just weed, you can control yourself at least that much...)

Years ago I was exactly the same the munchies used to destroy me I would smoke heavy indica Afghan/Moroccan hash then get insane munchies it was completely mad when I look back I used to have a big meal sober then feel nice and full up then I would have a gravity bong then boom 10 mins later I was raiding the kitchen cupboards for any food I could carry and eat and by the time I walked up the stairs I had finished what I got from the kitchen and so on and so until I was just drained wasting away like a stranded beach whale with empty candy/chips wrappers everywhere.

    So what I started doing was write on the palm of my hand with a permanent marker DO NOT EAT HAVE JUST ATE and every time I went to get some more food I would look at my hand and I would sort of remember my logical way of thinking towards food before I smoked then I would leave the food alone thinking hey yeah I have just ate a massive meal wtf am I doing trying to eat again.

    If any one has not smoked this type of hash try and imagine the biggest most insane munchies you have had then times it by 10 and you wont be close especially the Afghan hash once you smoke that stuff food controls you.

    These days I cant get the good hash anymore but there are types of green that give me munchies but I manage to resist it took a while but now I apply the same level of hunger whilst stoned to eating healthy foods and it makes fruits and every type of food taste amazing but generally speaking munchies are a thing of the past now.

    It takes time to learn how to control them but its important you do I have seen a few other wise healthy fit stoners turn into big fat waste of space slobs eating everything in site all the time then to tired to move off all he crappy food in their body.

    I am hungry now.:p
     
  13. I paid 20 bucks for a SMALL fucking shitty delivery pizza yesterday after ive already had like a 3000 calorie meal................................i guess I cant control myself at least tht much :(

  15. I just said fuck it and started playing ultimate frisbee while high and sober to burn the calories, I've LOST weight and I eat a shit load of food lol.
