  1. ok guys this will be my 3rd run and im feeling good about it.
    here is my setup.

    LIGHTS: 400W hps
    SOIL: 70/30 SOIL/VERMICULAITE( plain soil )

    TENT/CLOSET GROW VENTED TO ATTIC
STRAINS: 2 Critical jack dinafem auto
    1 Haze Auto ( second grade )
    1 UFO freebie Diemos auto

seeds have been germed in the paper towel method.
all popped through the soil today.
they are in 2 gal pots right now, will go to 3 gal before flower.
im gonna take a few pics of everything tonight and get those up in the moring sumtime.
hope you all stick around. should be fun

  2. here are the pics . lol i couldnt wait.
and the hps is about 18 inches from the seedlings. is that far enough?
it is in the tube and its 81 in there now

the last 2 pics are my kannibia smile. it 8 weeks into flower and not done yet.
any guesses on how long it has are welcome.

  3. nice man. im gonna start my autoflowers in a few weeks. why so few plants?? i would guess you could fit a few more at least under that 400w. maybe im wrong

  4. 18 is fine but I'd still listen to your plants and watch for heat stress. Also make sure that temp doesn't get too much higher.

  5. Nice photos, any reason why the kannibia smile is so small ??

  6. the smile is so small cause i put it in 12/12 from seed. but that main cola is dense as hell :D

  7. ok ty bud, and the temps never get any higher tha 83. and thats if my air is off for an extended period of time.

  8. well i planned on doing 8 plants but just decided on 4. i figure they can all reach max potential in there with just 4.

  9. word up. maybe with only a couple they will recieve max lighting potential.
anyone ever tried putting lights under the plants as well at over the top of them? i assume it might help the lower buds, but could it confuse the plant on which way to grow?

  10. sounds like a fine idea. maybe if you used cfl or t5 they would grow twords the hps anyway.

  11. well bad news already.
the haze auto has passed away. it was the second grade seeds so no biggy.
    i have started another.
the other 3 are good and all have first set of true leaves.
they stretched a bit so i moved the light closer.
ill post pics every saturday, don't wanna have too many pics of seedlings.

the kannabia smile is getting a lot fatter,i think it will have to go 11 weeks.
that pic was takin at 9 weeks from first calyx. thought it was 8 but its 9.
it is all sativa i think.

  12. is it weird that my smile does not smell skunky at all?
it smells like pine/mowed grass lol.

  13. UPDATE DAY PEEPS:
i think they might be getting a lil to light green color. like maybe N def?
the first three are the deimos and the 2 critical jack.
one of the criticals has tip browning on it. any suggestions?
also the last 2 are the smile any guesses how long i should wait on it?

  14. well no opinions with 80 peeps :)

  15. Hey bud.

Dont sweat it, just that baby leaf browning that happens.
Theyre the first true leaves, so they tend to take the
brunt of getting the nutes and getting used to this big bad world.

Sadly enough, they will most likely be the first to get trimmed.
They sacrifice themselves for the growing plant.

Youre right on track. Great grow.

    Freak

  16. If answers to questions is what you want post in the forums not just the journals you will get aquicker response. As for a nitro deficiancy wait and see if it stil gets lighter if it does than you have a nitro problem at that size just let them grow before you try to fix probs you dont have. Smoke a bowl and take it easy. They will be fine.

  17. its update day. i cant beleive it but they were rootbound after 1 week in the 2 gal pots.
2.5 inches of plant had 1o inches of roots. the soil twards the bottom was still pretty wet so i guess thats why.
i have transplanted into 3 gal containers. i made sure to add more vermiculate and a lil perilite on the bottom.
pics coming up in a bit.

  18. well apparently it didnt matter all 4 have now passed away.
i just dont get it. ph was never off and it was just plain soil.
anyways , im not starting anymore for a while .
