I am on my last year of high school( kinda don't want it to end) and i take a Machine Tool Technology class and i understand it is a dying trade, but i don't want all my knowledge and practice in this trade to go to waste. Does anybody know what knowing about this trade could help me do other things. Also me and my friend who go to the same school were thinking of starting a business together after we go through college. Since he is a mechanic we were thinking of opening a shop and i could make custom parts. What do you guys say?
