Lawrence O'donnell calls Ron Paul a liar for his recent remarks about the Boston bombings, namely the lock down the people of Boston went through. Lawrence O'donnell literally tries to pick apart Ron Paul's every word and portray them as lies. This video compliation so Lawrence O'donnell lying about Ron Paul lying using web articles and news clips that completely contradict O'donnells so called truth. He ends the segment with, "paranoid, lying politicians in the Paul family" Clearly the MSM still hates all things Paul. Yeah saw this last night and was pretty disappointed. Its disturbing how cold and vile Lawrence was towards Dr. Paul.
Someone might want to show Lawerence this video: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Op3TMliqBmA]Innocent Watertown family ripped from their home at gunpoint; Police storm the property - YouTube[/ame] What a douche waffle.
Lawrence doesn't even diserve to speak ron pauls name. Ron Paul is one of the most patriotic people I've seen.
Orly? Did you watch that video? Your seriously saying that ron Paul.was in the wrong? Can you quote ron Paul on what he said was wrong? You keep saying that. All I see is ron Paul saying I told.you so about an oppressive police tyranny
Already discussed in another thread, but basically statements that the police actions were scarier than the bomb blasts and threw them out of their houses - overly dramatic inciteful speech.
Partially, they were ordered out of their houses by scared police with arms ready. RP did not need to be so dramatic, he doesn't wear it well and need not be the next Glenn Beck.
I don't care if the police are scared. It does not justify unwarranted searching of people's homes at gunpoint. I can't wait for the lawsuits to start getting filed.
Oh, and does anyone else find it interesting that the media is NOT blacking out Dr. Paul? Normally they just act like he doesn't exist, but many liberals have also been attacking his new institute for peace. Damn I miss the anti-war left.
How is a police-state/martial law and complete disregard for the Bill of Rights to hundreds if not thousands of innocent citizens NOT scarier than an attack?
Cause the Gov told me so? Think of the children? Uh.... that's all I got. My brain doesn't know Statist.
I remember when police were hunting the ex-LA cop cop killer Dorner and they were scared then too. So scared they shot up a vehicle that didn't match Dorners and ended up shooting 2 innocent women who later received a large settlement. SWAT alone has a pretty awful track record of shooting innocent people during their raids. So lets thank our lucky stars no innocent civilians were shot this time.
Good point, although they di panic and let loose on the unarmed suspect. If anyone can't understand how exploding bombs are scarier than a search and clear of a house is come help clear the old mine fields. Not martial law, close but laws exist to conduct such operations when public safety is at risk.
Men with guns went.to innocent unnarmed civilians houses without warrents and ordered them out at gun point and your saying ron Paul was dramatic? Oh my God. That's just sad dude.
IC, you didnt see beyond..? - "Paul thinks guns were pointed at citizens, I dont think there was" (Referring to lawrence on MSNBC) - Paul is talking about the gradual steps towards the end of the tunnel, too much police militarization, etcetcetcetcetcetcetcetcetcetcetc - not just the facts about what happened that day on the Watertown Seige (lol) if not in your lifetime, your childrens' lifetime, not afraid of that happening?
The context flows a bit better when you use the correct quote. Gun point would be with the guns pointed at them. RP stated they were thrown out of their homes.
I read about family members being forced to leave their homes with sniper rifles drawn on them leaving their home. What if I said no? I don't think I would be "Allowed" to stay in my own home even if I defied the police. Then at that point..do I just roll over? Let them walk me down my own road with guns pointed at me even though I'm innocent, as they (maybe) go through my home following me leaving and searching around and looking at my belongings ..
