  1. First i want to wish all my fellow stoners on Grass City a very Marry Christmas!!

So on that note.. about 2 weeks ago I picked up a plant from a friend who had been growing this Blue Dreams strain. He had moved recently and the plant had been neglected for about a month.. but was still holding up somewhat. I am not sure as to what nutes, lights, feeding schedule, etc.. was being used.

I brought it home and put the plant under two, 15 watt cfl lights. I fed her 1/2 stregnth or 2 tablespoons of big bloom in a gallon of purified water. Tested and adjusted ph balance to 7.0

The plant had a few dried up leaves when i got her. But not shes drooping as you can see in the pictures I have attached.

The temp in the closet reads about 80·F, I wonder if this is the reason or if it might be the reason.

I also have a Clone of the same strain about a little over than a month and i have been having issues with this one drying up, burning tips and light green almost yellow leaves. I am also starting to wonder if the Calibration on my Milwaukee ph600 is correct.. it says it was already calibrated when I bought it.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

  2. You need at least 100w actual CFL lighting for one plant, and the lights need to be closer but not so close they cause the back of your hand to be "hot".I think PH shoulda been 6.5 so maybe try and lower it.I dont use Big Bloom fertilizer but 2-tablespoons sounds like alot for 1gal water(1/2 dose of my Flora Grow fertilizer is 1tsp per gal). The pot for the mother plant looks too small and I dont see much perilite, the yellowed clone is a deficiency but I cant remeber what(there is a post for it under sick plants).

  3. You don't want to use a bloom fertilizer for vegetating plants. What kind of soil are you using? It doesn't look right. How often are you watering?
