I'm not to sure where to post this but.... My boyfriend has just got a new contract in England, so it looks like we are moving to a place called Surry? Is there any problems with growing in England, I have no idea. My boyfriend does not smoke and I only smoke with my girlfriends so I'm not intending to grow much, here in Ohio I only grow lowryders but I'm not sure what to do when I get to England. Any advice would be great.
Well I imagine the laws are a little less strict than here In the united states but im pretty sure its still illegal...What part of ohio are you currently living in?

I assume you mean 'Surrey'? Can't tell you much about growing laws, but possesion laws are pretty lax here, if you're over 18, most of the time you will just get your stuff taken away, and given a warning, although it depends on how much you have on you, and where you are smoking it (i.e. public place, around children etc.)
how cool, surrey is only up the road form me! Over here if you atr unlucky enough to get pulled by the ol' bill, as long as you have less than a quarter on you then they'll jus conviscate it (take it for their own stash) an dlet you off with a slap on the wrist. Hey, hope u enjoy the UK Dont worry about moving to England, the people are fairly friendly on the whole... my mates live in Surrey and they like it there, the weather aint particuarly good, but unlike what the americans may hear our food is pretty good also. As for cannabis, as the guy above says, the police tend not to bother with people haveing up to a q oz on them (not that you'd ever be stopped and searched), and most people are liberal so cannabis is a fairly common thing in the UK as it is over there As for growing, the laws are currentlyundergoing a bit of an overhaul so if you were to grow I'd suggest only a couple of plants at a time so u can argue tis for personal use
You poor bastards, gutted. What part of Surrey? It could either be very nice, or very, very hanging. Surrey's a big place. Growing here is a really bad idea at the moment, generally; there are police absolutely everywhere, busting an average of 5 major grower dealers a week, all over the UK. If the heat seeker doesn't get you, your electricity bill might. As a consequence, we are experiencing the worst drought I have known in 15 years of using... In short, unless you really know what you're doing, don't bother. Mind you, British prisons are rather like holiday camps, so, you know....

if you are gonna grow , keep it lo-tech. like , try outside , therefore youre not gonna get caught out by the heat seekers. englands drought is on the way out though , its slowily coming through again now , i wouldnt worry about it too much. go to london , about an hour or so from surrey and pick up there if in despiration
i too am feeling the pain of this drought... pollen at £15 an 8th is all i could get for ages and now all weve got it some wet mids... so im not too impressed.... if anything goood does pop up (i managed to grab a Q last night!) its 3g on the 8th which irritates me!! why is it goin on?? on a brighter note, i grew 5 plants this year indoors under a 400w hps and it was fine... im from london so i dont really know bout surrey but i know parts are very posh... and others are shit.... our police dont really give a shit, ive been caught smoking in public like 5 times (between the ages of 15 and 19) and never got more than them throwing my teenth in the drain.... but be warned there is a big difference between posession and posession with intent to supply so try to keep production for personal only and ull be fine!! enjoy the uk, its not as bad as u fear lol FrEeZe
drought's horrible in UK i agree , ive never been arrested for weed , my uncle had 2 police come to his house over loud music , one of them walked in and straight away said "so what strain are you growing" my uncle didnt say shit about his grow , said "dont know what your talking about" smiling a little , after a long ass talk he showed him the plants , 3 of em a week away from harvest. cop actually said " i suggest you grow somewhere else next time around , smells to good in here" i was lmao. anyway , im sure you could get away with a few plants , hidden atleast. laws here arent as strict as the US.
If you get caught with an 1/8th they dont really care that much, either just ask you to give it to them or just tell you to move on.... But growing i have no idea, in london in one week i heard of 2 house raids...
