Where the Buffalo Roam. I prefer this film over Fear and Loathing for a Hunter S. Thompson depiction. Bill Murray is the balls.
#1 recommendation: Purple Rain with Prince. His quirkiness is hilarious, and his onstage performances are hypnotizing. If you got a decent sound system (see bottom), it’ll be that much better. Then, after you finish the movie, pop in Dave Chappelle’s true Hollywood story featuring Prince. Gut busting. Batman Begins. If you haven’t seen it, the soundtrack and directing is pretty tight.
