Last night I saw a movie about growing weed illegally and I was trying to figure out what it was. I only saw a little of the movie, but ill try to describe it as best I can. Ill describe some scenes. It was basically about a Socially Awkward guy that try's smoking weed. It is about how people he knows are groing marijuana illegally. He is somewhere in the country or a forrest of some sort where the population is low. When they stop in the forest and find a huge field of weed, they try and steal them and are almost shot. When they get back to where hes staying the owner of the house (in the scene below) keeps asking them how many plants there were in the field they found. Scene: The socially awkward man is looking for the bathroom in some elders house and, he opens a door and see's that they are growing weed. He says to himself "That's totally illegal, im in a house with crazy people" then he opens a different door and see's the owner of the house (an old man) and he says "Im having trouble finding the bathroom" and the old man starts laughing. Another Scene: The socially awkward guy, and i think 2 other people stop at night time in the forrest, and they stumble across a huge marijuana field. They decide to start digging up the plants and taking them until they hear a gunshot and they take off running. By the time they get to their car the man with the gun has caught up to them, and they know him. The man is carrying a shot gun and tells them to leave. 3rd Scene: The old man keeps asking the Socially Awkward guy "How many plants the guy with the gun had" and he is very curious to know how many plants the guy had Last scene i remember: The wife of the elder who owns the house tells him "The deer ate my roses" and a couple scenes later the socially awkward guy hears gunshots in the middle of the night. He comes running to see what it is in fear but he finds out the elder had just shot the deer when It was not in season. The old man skins it on the spot and they eat it. If you know what this movie is, and where i can watch it free it would be highly appreciated!! Peace
That doesnt sound familliar but this is a pretty good flick..its called " Homegrown " Starring Billy Bob Thorton....released in 1998 I believe...if you havent seen it, check it out...I dont think its the one you are talking about but its not a bad way to spend a few hrs
its not homegrown but thats a good one with billy bob and a few others about growing weed in the cali. mountains and chaos ensues
