Hi all. I have a single Afghan big bud plant that is doing extremely well (pic attached) and has just started entering the flowering phase. Outdoor grow. But I have a neighbor who I think is “concerned” about the plant growing back there so I want to take no chances and move it indoors (truly a shame I know!) and under an LED light for its duration of flowering which should be approximately another 4 to 5 weeks. So if I’m transplanting a very established and healthy 4 1/2 foot tall plant from outdoors to indoors, I’m thinking I need a very large pot to make sure I get the entire root ball and have room for soil etc. inside the pot. Any tips? Thanks!
Is it legal to grow where You live? If it isn't, why did You plant outdoors? If it is, tell Your neighbor to fuck off.
Oh I’m just paranoid I guess and here in MO rec grow is legal (18 plants 6/6/6) but only in enclosed, locked spaces and not in open space / backyard (hate that). Really just doing this ONE PLANT grow as a hobby / for fun since we love to garden. So maybe worst paranoia comes true and cops come and cite me small fine (or I just deny it’s mine since it’s behind back fence in overgrown area nobody usually bothers with). Hmmmm… sure would love to see how she flowers though. Damned paranoia.
a minimum of a 5 us gallon grow bag or pot, better 15-20 but a large light too, or you may just buy in and plant some bamboo around the area to confuse the neighbor, bamboo can be a real bitch to remove if hes that concerned some strains do look like weed from a distance cheers
i wouldnt try moving it bad idea if you must you will need a 20 or 30 gallon pot and some promix and a light i am sure the roots are deep so you will shock the plant and possibly kill her are you sure its female?
I wouldn't mess with it and I agree with Blix 100%. I have 7 foot tall plants in the middle of my yard for all my neighbors to see in the middle of town. It's legal so there's nothing they can do. You could always add a cheap game cam camera to catch whoever is brave enough to mess with your property. You could probably get one for cheap on Amazon at WalMart or something. Nice looking plant though. Let it do it's thing. ✌
