Ok so I decided to switch to dwc after they were about 10 inches tall and in soil well roots filled entire solo plastic cup so when I tried to rinse dirt off roots it didn't work the roots basically formed one big cup shaped sponge so I put it in the basket in the bucket with the clay balls on bottom and all around it.not what I planned but the dirt is so held in by roots there is basically no run off from dirt.. So what I'm asking is will I have a problem with this situation? Thanks for any help
Toss up a photo with pics if you want done help. Personally I wouldn't switch mid grow because of the root stress. You probably would have bed better off just taking a clone and pouring the clone in your dwc after it took roots. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

If I have to transfer soil to hydro I fill a bucket with water and dunk the soil bound roots in it like a donut. The majority will come off in this manner. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1290525-400w-MH/HPS-mixed
