Mountain biking??

  1. So I got into cycling to work on a foldable bike now I want to try mountain biking in my spare time can't decide between these entry bikes:

    Trek Marlin 5 Gen 2
    Cannondale Trail 8
    Specialized Rockhopper
    Gaint ATX

Which one have you tried if any?

  2. 29" would be preferred as it has the least rolling resistance/ crazy speed urban biking.

Always been a front suspension fork person, hardtail. But as I get older I find full suspension more appealing.

  3. A test ride or two will often narrow the field.

  4. I did this and rode the heavy bmx thing for a few months,
then rode my buddies 27 inch road bike ....and it just flew,
it was just so so light

now he's got a motor and batteries for it and he's getting fat ....lol

    cheers

  5. So y'all prefer hardtail or full suspension bikes?

I definitely am going with hydraulic disc brakes tho. Never had them before.

However about the forks? How important is having full suspension? I plan to go lightweight bike camping up a local mountain and really just want a good bike for off road adventuring and, getting fit.

I used to bike like really often but after knee injury I am okay with gym only and swimming in the pool. To say that I am upset, yeah a little but swimming also a good thing to do. Moreover u will always be fit because the amount of calories which are burning during 1 mile of swimming ( read here more about that ) are fire for sure.
