I'm not quite sure why you chose to juxtapose Che Guevarea with Kim Jong-Il. Whether it's of ignorance or to make some kind of esoteric point ...

I'll assume it's of ignorance, so don't get offended if you already know what I'm about to state.

Che Guevara was an anarcho-communist revolutionary. In the sense of ACTUAL communism. No dictator, no nothing. The people literally governing themselves in a direct democracy. That is communism. His only flaw was that he was Marxist. Proponents of Marxism believe in this transition phase between communism and capitalism ... called socialism ... where a single party would rule and guide the transition process. Afterwards, they would cede all power to the people. Fidel Castro saw how charismatic and well-liked he was, but he wanted power. He used Che Guevara to help him take over Cuba and seat himself as ruler, never intending to complete this transition phase from socialism to communism. He is fascist.

Kim Jong-Il is fascist. He's just fucking crazy. A true tyrant, like Fidel Castro.

  3. If I remember correctly, it's from the 1999 WTO riots in Seattle. Colloquially called the Battle of Seattle. It was beautiful; terrible. It was operatic. Such violence. Such emotion. The people fighting for what they believe in. Incredible.

There's a documentary of the struggle called Breaking the Spell.
