OK so my grow box is 4' high 2'4''wide 1'2'' deep painted white inside, i have my cfls (4-6 23w) hanging in a cluster , star formation. what would be the most efiecient way to grow 1 plant, i was considering scroging but then thought i could use the height to my advantage and grow 1 or 2 big ass cola tops, which route should i go
Yea, but you still have to light that space, and you're using lighting that penetrates to a useful depth of about 6". It can be done, but for best yield I'd strongly recommend an even canopy of buds instead of single colas, especially with weak lighting.
thanks,got it but scrogging is not the path i was planning to take for my first grow, my grow box itself doesnt allow me easy access to the lower foot and half so without the ability to move the plant , id have to redesign my whole box. how would you recommend growing with my setup without scrogging?
Well, you don't need a screen to train your plants, whenever it gets above 12" just bend her over. I use twine as well as a screen, but you can use either or. Training is essential to getting the most yield but it's entirely up to you, grow them however you like and enjoy!!
