Most Common Types of Tree

  1. Hey guys, I have been toking for a while now, but as my toking has matured, I no longer want to just smoke random stuff thats super dank. You have your kushes, hazes, dro, and ______? What else is there? You always hear "oh its a type of kush/haze", but what are the distinct differences? Are kush and hazes the only two types of mainstream types?

  2. I would start with finding out if you like indica or sativa strains, since the name isn't importent.

  3. unless you are getting it from a medical supplier i would put no stock into the names people call it at all. most of what you hear will be bs.

  4. Yup. Don't get caught up in labels, it's usually just marketing buzz words to make what they have sound more exotic so you'll pay more

  5. dude true Sour D is the bomb. heavy sativas can be extremely psychedelic and the little bit of indica chills you out so you dont freak

  6. dude, dietpepsi, youre from toledo????
    small fuckin world man.

  7. I get from medical, so I know what I'm smoking isn't bs, and I've compared my nugs with marijuanareviews. All my stuffs legit, I just want to learn more about it. I like hybrids, and if not hybrids indica is prlly my fav.

I just want to know pretty much how to appraise a nug if that makes sense. Like what is the brown stuff mean? Is it a type of kush? What else is out there?? I know about trichomes and crystals already

    I'm just looking to learn

  8. Brown meaning lower quality??? Could be any strain, you can grow ny strain very well, or very bad.....

You said you already know about trichomes (which are the "crystals") When you are appraising (lol good word) a nug, you want to look for a LOT of those, and, most dispensaries (you said your getting it medical, i dunno if you go in or go to a caregiver) have magnifying glasses in there. You wanna look for trichomes that are developed, they arent short little balls, you want them with longer stalks generally. I believe on a sativa, you want clearer/milky trichomes... and on an indica, you want amber headed trichomes (any one can correct that if im wrong... but i believe thats what ive read).

As for the color of the nug, that will vary greatly.... Some are darker green/purple/brownish, some are very light green almost yellow green. Lots of hairs, in my opinion, doesnt mean a better bud, i think they burn horribly and taste bad, but to each their own. You dont want long finger like hairs tho, and very fluffly loose nugs, not to be mistaken with fluffy nuggets, i mean super fluffly more leaf than calyx nugs.... You will figure it all out... every stoner figures out what they like pretty quickly hahahahha

  9. I say you go pick up some OG kush, it's a good strain to smoke whenever and it's pretty easy to come by here in cali. It's 65:35 hybrid with the greater part being sativa, personally I really enjoy hybrids and sativas.

Don't get me wrong though, some good indica is great for medicinal stuff like aches, pains, and soreness.

  10. This guy gets it.

99% of those names are made up, unless you know who grew it and know what seeds they used.

  11. That helps a lot, thanks

  12. Woops, I didn't mean to re-quote Hanneman1011 sorry I'm still new here!
