I don't know. We all know we can't get hook-ups on this site so this isn't what I'm talking about. I just think a lot of people miss opportunities to meet up with fellow blades based on their reputation and join date (if any meet up at all). Wouldn't people think someone would make a new "fake" account to not associate themselves with their anonymous profile? I would like to meet people but I wouldn't ever like them to know I'm 4Ridgemont4. In the near future I hope we can all spread the love and our information freely without instantly being called a LEO. Do we really think law enforcement will scour this site for leads? If I gave you my # you think I'm going to track you down and put you away? It's crazy. I want to meet more stoners without having to go to college.
even the stoners that live in my county on this forum are somewhat far away. if you wanted to meet a new stoner buddy, just walk down your neighborhood and you're almost guaranteed to find one unless you live in the desert
when i was new to this site I met up with a fellow blade. it felt sketch at first ya know, randomly meeting somebody like that... we both where new members actually. both just started attending ECU. & both from the same area (lived like 30 minutes apart). actually turned into a pretty good friendship... we chilled & partied randomly all throughout college. havent talked to him in years though. he was only on the site a short time. me on the other hand... just couldnt leave the city.
I was open to the idea when I first came here but as I have lurked on I have to come to learn that other members who meet people online through this site have some pretty interesting stories that I do not want to experience.
Handful of people have mentioned living in my area.. but I never bother because they're almost all newer users who aren't active it seems. I'm not terribly likely to try to meet a blade unless they're well known to me and are incredibly close.
I'd want the blade to be well known to me but I'm kinda the opposite on distance. I'd like to travel and get a nice trip out of it all.
