Dont know if you all have already seen this, its kind of old news (2008), but I just found it. Theres basically a huge hole in the magnetic field surrounding earth, bigger than any we've found before. 4x wider than the earth itself.. could be bad later on Giant Breach in Earth's Magnetic Field Discovered - NASA Science
