This probably isn't where it should be, but I was thinking of putting money on a prepaid cards to buy pipes online, do you think e.g. Grasscity for example would take American Express prepaid cards?
Not sure about AMEX. Some places don't take that. I'd just go to walmart and buy one of their prepay visas. They cost $3. Used to use them all the time.
Make sure you get the Vanilla Visa. It's about the only one taken internationally. Wal Greens almost guaranteedidly has them. Tryin to save yo some trouble if you order from GC.
