FUUUUCK! Well my mom is going to Cali tomorrow to go to court for something she got bagged for in 96'! You believe this bullshit? She got arrested in Cali for smoking a joint, a cop on a bike rolled up on her and arrested her and then found an ounce on her. I guess she didnt show up to court or something. The reason this whole thing came up b/c she is trying to get a license to sell insurance, and a warrant or something popped up on the background check. Well she is leaving tomorrow morning and wont be back till thursday. I should ask her to bring back some buds, but im not trying to risk her coming back to NY a free woman. She might have to serve maybe a week or two, but i hope she doesnt. I cant believe how something that happened ten years ago is still haunting her. Please pray for my mother's well being. hey man, im really sorry about you mom, she'll be in my prayers, i know i wouldnt what that shit to come down on my mom...but i really dont think your mom will get anything more than a fine of couple hundred, i think if she were to serve time, itd be a couple days at max
so what's the statute of limitations on this shit? This sucks, bro. I'm sure she'll be fine. What hardass judge is gonna go, "oh, you fucked up 10 years ago? what? a joint? and then an ounce?!? you're fired. go to jail." I'd imagine it'll be a fairly small fine, at worst a suspended sentence.

Mate if its means anything i have been through the same thing, i know it blows hard, it turned out semi-fine for me, no sentance for the family member who had to go to court.
