Mom has to take drug test

    My mom, who has been on and off unemployment since getting laid off from her job she had for several years, finally landed a decent job that would hire her in the coming months if she was good enough.

    Surprisingly, they actually hired her a few days ago, except she has to take a drug test first. She smokes frequently, not so much these past couple months, and is going to quit for good if she doesn't pass the drug test. She bought a home drug test and it said she was negative, but I'm still nervous. She has already taken the drug test, drinking a lot of water and coffee before.

    I'm going to feel really bad if she doesn't pass this drug test. She's got it so tough because my dad's lazy ass hasn't worked in years because he's "disabled". I hope to god she passes the drug test.

    People will never learn will they. Oh I'm middle aged and unemployed, I have bills. I should smoke weed all the time to hinder my chances of finding a job, fuck yeah!

    The ignorance of drug testing by employers as a condition of pre-employment is nothing more than descrimination, completely biased & totally ignorant.
    If there going to test for durgs they should also test for alcohol & excessive masturbation.
    I can understand it for some jobs but this is nothing more than control of the serf population:(

    Good luck to your mother.

    Have her take this piece of advice, though.

    Find a detox/head shop and get some detox supplies to guarantee her position.

    Level the playing field of a shit economy out so she doesn't miss this opportunity.
