Molds: does it stun germination?

I dont wanna sound rude but why the fuck is there mold in your cup also you dont have to keep seeds in the water that long 12 hours will do then use paper towel method speeds up the germination process

 

Put the seeds in the water only for 24 hours if you want to tell if they are viable or not. Then when you use the paper towel method spray the paper towel with water that has a small amount of bleach in it to inhibit mold. In answer to your question can mold inhibit germination; I don't know for sure but would venture to say yes because that mold can eventually kill the seed.
