Mold? You be the judge!

    Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here, so I will first take this opportunity to introduce myself.

    I would appreciate a second opinion on whether this bud looks moldy before I give it a try. Both pics are supposedly from the same strain, but not all the buds are the same color to me. As as you can (hopefully) tell in the first shot, the buds on the right look quite green, but on the left there is more of a blue tinge. They look slightly fuzzy in spots, but not clearly enough to be sure if it is mold or just blue-ish trichomes.


    The second pic is of one of the questionably moldy buds, which looks like a cloudy blue in some spots.

    I know the pics aren't perfect and it's hard to make out the fine detail, but I would appreciate any feedback you might have to give. Do you think it is mold or am I overthinking things? Thanks in advance!

    bend it open under a bright light and give it a gentle puff of air. Watch for a little bit of dust or powder (mold) to puff off of it. It does kinda look like mold in a few spots, but it's hard to tell.

    The white fuzzy stuff In 2nd picture is a little concerning. Does it smell funky?

    It's not my grow, unfortunately I have no skill with cultivation. The guy I bought from tends not to dry very thoroughly though, since he says he prefers a stickier bud. I tend to think that is the issue with this batch, and some of it has caught mold but not all.
    LOL kill it with fire!
    Nothing really noticeable, but it's just mid-grade and still kind of on the moist/dank side so the smell is not a great indicator.

    Usually when I have found mold in the past it is easier to see the little cobwebs growing, but this one confused me because it looked just like coloration of the bud. I cut open some of the more blue/gray ones and it was a much brighter green inside, so it has to be mold I think. Thanks for all your feedback!
