    Recently I’ve been noticing these small white hairs growing from the stems of my bud.

    Can anyone confirm if this is bud rot or mold?

    I’ve been getting a lot of sinus drainage afterwards and I’m worried it may be bad

    Please advise
    Thx

  2. It's not mold, dunno the exact term but you'll see little fibers on the stems inside buds, along with the trichomes.

    The mold you usually see in a bud will be spider webby or like cotton. Those buds look completely fine to me!

  4. grab 2 cups of warm water in 1 put 2 tsp of household bleach
    dip a sample into the bleach water
    let sit for 5 mins
    note if any of the 'suspect' has fizzled into snot
    dip again in the other clean cup

    allow to dry
    pick out the dried suspect

    if no fizzles(reaction to bleach) then it was not fungi/mold

    good luck[/QUOTE]

  5. They're called Stem Trichomes.

    You're fine.

  6. They are called cystolithic trichomes aka non glandular trichomes and are found near the stems especially and resemble white hairs/fuzz sometimes. Often times people will be posting pics questioning them as mold.
