I'm growing 1 white widow and 1 urban poison. Both have similar flower time of 8-9 weeks I'm 9 weeks in and really just waiting for 25% amber (mostly cloudy now no amber) anyway I found the UP had a cola with white mold I promptly cut that branch out I cant find any more right now. Should I continue to try to mature the plants or harvest immediately? I'm thinking it's safer to harvest. \t\t\t\t\t\t
So I've made the choice to chop tonight. Any thoughts on how infected the rest of buds might, that is, have I lost the harvest and smoking would be dangerous? I'm of the mind that once mold is found it is everywhere can a mold outbreak be localized to one cola?
If the effected area looks white, it may just be Powdery mildew which I believe can be washed off.....Before you throw anything away, I would research it........
Here is a video showing how to get rid of Powdery Mildew>>> Jorge Cervantes Explains How To Get Rid Of Powdery Mildew | The Weed Blog
So the stuff I found could be powdery mildew. What I found though was in the nooks between the buds and associated with it I found a dead leaf that just pulled free. Anyone try this technique? Seems like works?
hey granny can you explain perhaps a little more on how to most effectively utilize this technique?? I'm In NEED of serious Powdery mildew help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just an FYI, I read something about while it treats PM, it may make flowers more succeptable to bud rot...
alas for me I think this technique is a not going to help. I dissected the cola I cut off and found that the mold was the grey type (I assume the mold bleaches where the light hits it)
