Mobius Ion Bubbler With Matrix Percolator

After doing the King Sovereignty Stemline Review a few weeks back, I decided that the only direction to travel from here is UPWARD. The only way to follow up such a magnificent work of glass is to do a review on one of the best pieces in the market; the Mobius Ion Bubbler with Matrix Percolator

Testing and owning the Mobius Matrix Bubbler has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I was extremely excited when I found out that a head shop near my area had a few of these bubblers in stock. As soon as I found out, I rushed over to the head shop and purchased my very first Mobius Glassworks Piece. The piece is magnificent and drop dead gorgeous. At first glance, one's jaw may drop and hit the floor at the superb craftsmanship and pure beauty of this piece. This is definitely a piece that all avid connoisseur smokers' most own. Enough of my rambling, let's move on to the review.

Drag/Flow:

The Mobius Matrix consists of over 160 pin holes that allow for maximum smoke diffusion. This design has never been seen before and definitely showcases Mobius Glassworks' blowing skills. The Matrix Perc allows for one of the smoothest hits a glass piece can bring. Not only does the user attain a magnificent hit, but one can also taste the flowers. Most pieces with this many holes and slits that cut up the smoke tend to lose their taste with excessive slits, but not the Matrix. This piece rips like a beast and allows one to take massive hits with this small bubbler. One will be impressed after ripping this little bubbler, and the observers will be even more impressed with the amount of smoke one exhale after testing the Matrix out. The flow of the piece is superb and enters the lungs smoothly thanks to the Matrix Perc. There is zero drag in this piece and the 2nd row allows an excellent pull after removing the slide.


Diffusion/Filtration:

The Mobius Matrix is definitely one of the top pieces when it comes to Diffusion/Filtration. As I stated earlier, there are over 160 holes that help cut up and diffuse the smoke. The user can take massive rips while enjoying their favorite flowers since the taste is still present. Some users may be concerned that the Matrix only fires from the top row when smoking. This is true, however, the entire piece fires up after removing the slide which allows for even more diffusion and an even better pull. The 2nd row is used for pull purposes and allows great airflow when inhaling that final breath of smoke. After looking at the Matrix Perc, it seems as if there is a combination of gridding and slits used for blowing this percolator. The Matrix looks as if it were gridded from the inside and then slits were placed on the outside to give it over 160 holes that travel 360 degrees around the Matrix Percolator. I'm sure I am not correct in their process and technique of blowing this piece, but whatever and however they did it, they did a magnificent and top shelf job.


Craftsmanship:

The Mobius Matrix Bubbler is beautiful and stunning when one catches glimpse of it. If you haven't experienced love at first sight before, please, do not look or attempt to hit this piece. The Matrix is so beautiful, people don't want to hit it and rather look at the elegancy of the bubbler. The Matrix percolator looks flame polished and gives off a shine that is almost blinding when clean. This bubbler was blown with some of the finest blowing skills known to man and has a superb finish. The Matrix sparkles and twinkles in one's eye and consists of over 160 holes. The piece also consists of some Sand Blasting in which the MATRIX name is blasted on the front, while the California State and Company Name is Sand Blasted on the back of the piece. This technique really makes the piece stand out and adds an edge that separates Mobius Glassworks from the rest of the Glass Blowing Industry.

Cost:

This piece is magnificent and is even better thanks to its tag. The price of the Matrix Bubbler is $350. I believe this piece is well worth the sticker tag. This piece not only looks beautiful, but even hits better than it looks. For $350, one can't beat a bubbler that consists of over 160 holes and is crafted by one of the most desired glass companies in the market. The great thing about this piece is that it is small, compact, yet hits smoother and better than most large tubes in the market. This piece is now on my top shelf and has replaced some of my other pieces as my Daily Driver.



The Company:

Mobius Glassworks was conceived in early 2010 with the intention of creating exceptional smoking devices. Mobius is led by glassblower cIRcIE. Mobius' desire is to intricately introduce new groundbreaking percolators that have never before been produced. They currently have 3 options for perc style, the Zero Drag, the Reti Perc, and the Matrix Perc. Mobius strives to create pipes with the least amount of drag possible while providing the best way to smoke.


Overall:

The Mobius Ion Bubbler with Matrix Percolator is a godly piece to own or hit. This piece is well designed and is blown to perfection. The piece is stunning and leaves viewers in shock by how beautiful the piece is. Not only does it leave viewers in shock, but it stuns users by allowing for a massive yet smooth medicating hit. This piece is definitely a top shelf tube that will leave your other glass pieces on the shelves to collect dust. With over 160 holes, this piece is blown to perfection and is my favorite bubbler to this date. I must say, I am extremely impressed with the Mobius Matrix design and functionality.

The piece is wonderful for both flowers and oils, especially since it has a decent hand held can. The bubbles definitely do stack in this piece and I love the way the flowers taste. @inhaldimprvmnts - Thanks for the read. The bubbler is legit and I love burning out of it. I was using a slide provided by ******* that came with the piece. I like keeping the products stock for reviews.

@jswoo - Did you try lowering the water level. That happened to me a few times when I poured in to much water. I personally like the air flow, but its all preferrence.

 

@SiickAndNasty- I definitely agree with you. The bubbler isn't quite airy but some pay say it has a slight drag due to the many cuts in the matrix perc. I personally love the piece and can't get enough of the design and MObius' work. Keep smoking everybody and enjoy the forums
