    i have ADD and take 30mg of adderol everry day, could i get for mmj for my disorder?

    yeh in california theres this guy that fights Mixed Martial Arts named Nick Diaz and he claims that he gets MMJ for his ADD

    In California, it is easy when you have a real medical condition! After getting refused by your regular doctor (He CAN give you a rec, but likely wont- too scared), ask for a copy of your medical records.

    You might want to turn your doctor on to my "list" (in the links below), most doctors are rather uneducated when it comes to cannabis! There are several studies on cannabis and ADD/ADHD in my list. They should help you find what to say to him. Your doctor might appreciate a print-out of them.

    Next - are you over 18? If not, you got a problem! Most cannabis specialists (pot docs) will NOT issue a recommendation for a minor without parental consent! (Again, the studies may help.)18 or older- no problem!

    Then you go to NORML's California site. They have a list of cannabis friendly doctors. Call and ask "how much?" - the prices can vary wildly! Make the appointment.

    Take your records, pill bottles and money to the doctor. Have a quick check-up and chat about pot with the doc. Walk out legal. :D That simple!

    Enjoy that first legal joint! Paranoia is a major bring-down and we never know how big it is, until it's gone! :hello:

    thanks bro tht reallly helped... i was also wondering ima freshmen in college 18 of course and go to school at usc... but i live in pa when im not at school. can i get a card and prescibtions living in pa half the hear? also which link comes up with ADD/ADHD options for a reason in medical terms for a doctor... Sorry if u dont follow haha

    Wonderful post! :) I just wanted to add this: My next door neighbor who has suffered from extreme ADD throughout his life is able to function as an attorney because he finds marijuana helps him stay calm.

    As long as you have proof of residency when you apply and photo ID- a driver's license is good- covers both. So get your license updated ASAP.

    The best study from my list for your doctor- tells how a dude with really severe ADHD was able to act normal and even drive when stoned. They gave him pills, but he toked because it was cheaper. They only caught him due to a blood test- too much THC in his blood. :p
