Upon opening the jar that had been sealed for months, this bud produced almost no smell. It's probably one of the most stealth strains there is. Just a faint sweet smell that reminds me of a child's candy necklace.

The first hit was smooth and slow burning. These buds are fairly dense for a sativa. The high is very euphoric. I love how much the high has mellowed out with a long cure. It was much racier and almost narcotic feeling right after harvest. Now I'm melting into my chair and feeling no need for a second hit. C99 is the only true one hit wonder I've ever found.

It was very mild smelling threw the whole grow but not unpleasant or hay smelling at all. Just mild and fruity during the grow, and mostly sweet smelling and tasting now. I normally go for a strong taste and smell, but I love this strain none the less.

Yep, this is some from my last outdoor grow. The C99 was my favorite of what I grew last season. It went really fast after harvest but I just found a couple of buds I had stashed away and forgot about till now. I was looking for supplies to make a pollen box and stumbled across these beauties. I'm really sad the mother plant died while I was out of town for too long this winter.

As for the smell, it's all in the strain.
