Mixing strains when smoking...

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by +AVA-182_Racer, Feb 21, 2010.

  1. So i have some pretty good indica dominant mids, and some dank dank trainwreck, from what i have experienced and read is supposed to be pretty dominantly sativa...correct me if im wrong, anyway, just wondering if there is any positives or negatives to mixing bud...anyone get a different/better/worse/no difference high?

  2. Most people refer to mixing strains (especially if they are different strengths/types) a salad bowl.

From personal experience, it can be a bit overwhelming. I enjoy being able to choose how my body reacts to the high (by being able to decide between sativa and indica), and when you mix the two, you just kind of feel a little out of control.

But don't let this deter you, if you smoke a moderate amount, and give yourself the ability to just fall into bed, it should be fun!

  3. I will agree with that. If you mix the right sativa with the right indica, the effects will be a lot stronger than the individual strains by themselves, or even a genetic hybrid of the two. Mixing is good.

  4. I really don't mind what type I'm smoking to tell you the truth.

If I didn't have weed one minute and got hooked up with some the next, regardless of what it is, I would be a happy panda.
