Today is Day One of my attempt to find the one and only Miss Bombshell Betty... This grow will be semi experimental! I have been reading blogs and books (such as the Growers Bible and Ed Rosenthal's Marijuana Growers Handbook) everything with great information! I'm am going to be messing around with The Wick System... Which to my surprise I couldn't find all that much information even from other blades! Really the only place I found it in was in Ed Rosenthal's book... Okay so you all are now wondering and maybe even some of you are opening your Handbooks and are looking for what I'm talking about... Well I'll just tell you. So it's a auto watering system where the grow medium will take in water as it needs it from rope thats stung through the pot and hangs in the reservoir. I know what your thinking, because I've been thinking it since I read it. Over watering! I'm going to be trying out a 1/4 ffof soil and 3/4 perlite. Should give me enough space for air and wont kill the roots. Okay so where am I know well I started to germinate 4 bag weed seeds, one cracked and put her foot out really fast and was moved to fox soil in a egg crate..... Recycling as I can. And another one popped out the other day and was moved into a Rockwool cube. One in soil is posted in the pictures. Gonna set up her new Wick house and her pool! O yea lights... Hello there fellow blades! So here is that update that I wanted to post the day after but got a little busy... So lights I have a 27 and a 16 watt daytime bulb 24/7 I only think its 16 but today I was moving the new home in for Miss Betty and the fixture fell and smashed both my bulbs I had a extra 27 but could only find a 16 for the other side. But yea would love a little feed back. Here's the pictures!
Okay so, over 270 views on my thread and not anyone saying hello? How rude! So is it a question you guys need? Okay here it is Miss Betty is growing her third node now, I'm thinking of letting it grow in and then topping the next.... But can I give her a boost and toss in some nutrients to give her some good food?
Well thank you for stopping by! Okay so today I have some pictures of my cab and my plant. I'm also letting a gallon of water sit around since yesterday so that I can mix some nutrients into my girl and let her blast off! I'm going to be using General Organics, Bio Thrive, Bio Root, Bio Weed all at half strength.
Okay nutrients are mixed and are now in the res. I poured some in the soil/perlite mixture to give her some food faster, but should take a little bit for them to travel up the rope and work it's way into the soil....
Here is another up date, spent a night away and she grows so much faster! So tonight I'm gonna take her out and top her so she gets nice and bushy since I will not be using a screen for scrog! I wonder if there is a way for me to move it to a DWC grow.... I'll ask else where.

The other was Ed Rosenberg marijuana growers handbook, which is pretty current. And they both have this method of growing listed. Okay so how does it work... You know when you touch a tissue in a cup of water well same thing with the rope. As the soil needs water it takes it up the rope into the soil. My nutrients are liquid based so they too are being taken up into the plant. Lately I found that I had a Mg problem so I added 1/2 strength +CalMg, to help out that problem before it starts *cross my fingers* that its gonna help. Any more questions please ask, and FYI its way more comfy to set to a hammock!

Little bit of a update.... So I leaned leaving your plant for a day isn't a great idea.... Starters the she blew up a little! And then there was some bad touch between her and the bulb.... But I put her in time out and LSTed her up, she's kinky like that. Okay tell me what you think and ask if you wanna know anything!

Yea I'm trying it out this time, I've wanted to other times and always forget. But my fitness just gave me a 70watt HID light for flower time there gonna love it!

Not good. You gotta make sure all the exposed water is covered with something, otherwise you get nasty shit in there. Always remember this: Light + Water = Life growing in ur water
