So Im starting my first indoor grow and im looking into reflective surfaces for the room. Do mirrors work? My closet is small enough where i could cover most of the walls in large mirrors. Has anyone tried this? or are they not as reflective as other materials? Thanks for your help
Certain colors...wave lengths of light are actually absorbed by mirrors. Your best reflective surfaces are going to be Mylar or even a good brilliant acrylic white paint.
Don't use mirrors they create hot spots from what I've heard. Start with the right equipment, stay with the right equipment
I live where its legal to grow so dont care about hotspots. And yes i want good equipment, its why im on here asking questions.
Lol, I think you misinterpreted the meaning of "hotspots" bro..... He means mirrors could cause heat issues over certain spots of your plant But anyway, don't use them, they eat light....mylar or panda film is a much better option.
