Anyone had experience with this compost? Do you think it will be suitable for a 60 day wonder autoflower? Thanks
Balls! not much available in B&Q (UK), don't want to look like a pot grower! Especially as centres around here have been notified by the police what to look out for! lol
You don't need to look like a pot grower by picking up earth worm castings, some espoma tone, and kelp meal...along with tons of other organic goodies that any body who grows any type of plant organically would love to have
By the way, Miracle Grow is owned by Scott's, who is owned by Monsanto. Please refuse to support these nasty people who have no problem killing our earth for the almighty dollar. Monsanto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Please help by not supporting this evil company. Thank you. J
I'd rep you for that statement Jerry, but I can't. @Tedmoo, you'd be far better off building a peat, castings, perlite, etc. based soil of your own, all of which can be found at nearly any garden center, and sling in some epsoma tone, rose tone, or other similar product.Even if your 1st attempt at a soil mix isn't picture perfect, you'd still be far better off than using that MG stuff.
Jees didn't realise, but its too late now! Saying that I believe most people don't even know where meat comes from or how, nevermind who owns each particular company and their bad practises! Also, I don't wanna get in to the whole US ethics etc.!!!! lol Anyway, I already look like a typical stoner apparently! (someone in the pub just asked if I sold weed lol) But thanks for the input, I'll keep it in mind for future grows. The compost does look n feel nice though. We will see how it turns out. I could use ebay for buying perlite etc. but it will be delivered to my parents, they will be suspicious! I live in staff accommodation and must be stealthy! Cheers!

Thank you. J[/quote] Hey J Have you heard the story about Jeff Lowenfels (one of the TWM authors) working for the guy that started Miracle Grow? Apparently still close friends. He even jokes about how evil miracle grow is with the guy! Heard it on a good podcast recently. Boro
