  1. Awwwww commonnnnn

    Don't tease us!!!
Show us some Bud Porn already!!! :)

    Puff Puff Pass

  2. Hey thanks for checking in on the girls!

I've been out of town for a couple days but I hope to get some pictures later tonight. I peaked in the tent when I got home and I can tell they are flushed well. All the fan leaves have completely yellowed and have either fallen off or are dangling there. Look frosty even without a light on in the tent :)

  3. started to take down the girls but unfortunately the cola/plant I was really in love with ended up developing some bud rot! The good news is that it seems to isolated to just the main cola and not all of it was a loss.....Im estimating maybe a half ounce will be lost :(

The first pictures are of the plant with bud rot....you cant see the rot in the pictures so it still looks really impressive haha. It was taken down 3 days ago and its hanging on the far right of the string. The main cola isnt pictured with the group because its been cut into small buds and put into a paper bag away from all other bud. I will keep an eye on it and see how much I can salvage.

Took two more down today and they were both really nice looking plants. Although the plants arent labeled, you can see the differences and each plant is grouped together on the string. The main colas of todays girls are hanging side by side with the sharpie hanging between them and I think they look pretty damn sexy haha.

  4. Sad to here of the bud rot:(
    But that's a nice looking harvest Minty:hello:

  5. the 4th picture is of the bud thats been drying for 3 days so it looks different than the rest. I also thought Id show how packed my veg tent has gotten. Have 2 monster Exodus Cheese plants, 1 blue hash, & 1 Ultimate ready to go now. I also have the following seedlings....1 pineapple chunk, 2 power kush, 1 diesel and then I have a picture of the critical mass clone. I added another CFL in the veg tent and its helped my growth take off. I also started using T Rex and G Rex my cutting edge so I think that helped as well. The last few pictures are of the flower tent and what remains in there. There are two plants that will come down this week and then 3 others with two weeks. The GWS has two massive colas that I can not wait to get my hands on!

  7. who wants to take a guess at my yield? haha

  8. Total or what I've already chopped down?

  9. I just did a small batch of dry ice hash making (my first try). The trim I used had been sitting in a paper bag in front of a fan for roughly 3 days. It was still fairly moist but the dry ice tool care of that for me. I used a 110 micron screen that I got from a friends screen printing shop and it worked just fine. Instead of using a massive 5 gallon bucket I bought a plastic paint can from the hardware store. I really like using the smaller sized can especially for my first try. It was really easy to handle and I feel like its better to start small in case you screw up! Not sure how much the trim weighed before putting it in there but it was about 1/3 of what I had. Keep in mind I only kept the really good trim and didn't keep any of the larger leaves. I probably should have kept them and just sprayed them but I really only wanted to keep the best trim...live and learn. I ended up with 2 grams of really nice hash and I smoked just a little bit and it tasted like lemon zest and put me on my ass. I highly (joke) recommend you give this method a try!

  10. I am an ISO head. :)

Although I have been looking into the dry ice method for larger batches.

  11. Going to end up with right around 5 ozs from the first wave of the harvest. I'm going to chop down the rest today and I'm hoping for 10 ozs combined once everything is dry. Not the greatest grow I've seen but I'm happy given I was using unknown genetics and this was my first run in about 3 years and the first in this set up.

Already looking at running two 600w lights in the same tent instead of just 1. I think having a MH and an HPS bulb in there will make shit pop off big time. I'm also going to use the SCROG this time around and I'll be shooting for a pound.

See you guys later when I'm done chopping :)

    -Minty

  12. Sounds like a plan, and glad you had a succesful run.

  13. Chopped all but 1 plant today....

Everything went pretty well with the harvest but found one little nug on the thickest/wettest plant that had a tiny bit of bud rot. I inspected all plants very very closely after I had that small hiccup on the first round of the harvest. The plant today was almost identical to the one that had rot last week so Im glad I wont be growing those genetics anymore. The buds are super dense and full of resin but they obviously rot very easily. All the other plants were very nice and Im especially happy with the great white shark. The two main colas are super dense and I cant wait to see what they end up weighing.

The one remaining plant is now in the smaller tent where it will stay until it decides to finish! I cleaned out the small veg tent before putting it in there and I also had to switch the timer in that tent to 12/12.

I set up the flowering tent with the SCROG and moved the 2 exodus cheese plants, the Ultimate, and the blue hash into the big tent. I switched the bulb out so they are currently under a 600w Metal Halide and I also transplanted them into much larger pots. These are the true 5 gallon pots, not the pots they sell as 5 gallon but are actually 3.9 gallons (little secret for some noobs). These things are already monsters and are going to be a lot to handle in the next few weeks. Right now they are as tall as the plants I just harvested so this could get interesting. Obviously I wish I could have had them under the scrog for the last few weeks but I wasnt able to do that with my set up. Instead, I am going to slowly train/supercrop/top them over the next 10-14 days and see what results I can get in that time frame. I dont want to stress them too much more right now because I just transplanted them and put them under a much bigger light. However, I just went down to check on them and after 2 hours they are already turning towards the light ans seem to be responding very well. My goal is to get as much of the under growth to catch up and really fill up this screen. Im only going to have 4 plants this time but I want this tent to be full of buds!!!

The 2 exodus cheese plants are in the back of the tent. The one in the back left corner is much more sativa dominant while the one in the back right is much more indica dominant. The blue hash is front left which Im sad this plant was confined to that small tent for so long because it suffered but I have no doubt it will more tthan recover. The Ultimate strain is in the front right and is a clone from a buddy so Im hoping its worth the effort but I guess that goes for all these. I do plan on taking some clones to keep the genetics alive until I see how they produce in flowering but that will wait until they have recovered from all this moving.

  14. Looks good.

  15. Here is one more pic I had of the new set up. You can also see my seedlings chillen in the bottom of the tent. Those will move back into the small tent to continue vegging once I decide to harvest that stubborn bitch I have in there right now.

What do you guys think of the SCROG? I've got it hooked up to light ratchets so you can raise and lower it which will come in handy for me as I start training my plants and try to force them back down.

I also plan on adding more light during flowering but I havent decided what Im going to do....either upgrade to a single 1000w or add a second 600w to the tent...hmmmmmm Ive got a couple weeks to decide, input welcome!!!

  16. Only been 2 days and the plants are loving life and Im already seeing growth!

  17. Looks like the final numbers put me right at 12 ounces dry! I'm very pleased considering it was the first run in this setup. Pumped for round 2!

  18. Nice, wtg. :)

  19. Havent updated in awhile but got a new toy to play with so I thought I would share.

Things are looking pretty good in the flower tent but did have a slight issue with the sativa pheno exodus cheese. Its a picky bitch but Im hoping it produces some decent bud otherwise Im going to be annoyed that I wasted 1/4 of the tent on it. I added two 125w daylight CFLs to the flower tent as well to help with light coverage and to give a fuller spectrum during flowering. I wanted to add another 600w but I would have to start running on 220 and Im not set on doing that just yet. The CFLs allow me to continue running on 110 so Im curious to see how the added light and CO2 help this run. Im really hoping I can get this tent producing a minimum of 1lb while running a max of 6 plants. Im really liking the SCROG so far and as I learn this new method I already see ways to drastically improve my next run.

Veg tent is looking pretty good....pineapple chunk was definitely starting to show a magnesium deficiency but I attribute that mostly to needing transplanted. All the veg plants are now in 1 gal pots and are much happier.

I also purchased the cutting edge plant amp and mag amp to use in place of my other cal/mag. I figured I might as well use the full CES line and see what I can produce. Used these as a foliar feed as directed but also added them to my nutrient mix. Im now using the CES 3 part, plant amp, mag amp, sugaree, t rex, g rex, koolbloom, and snow storm ultra. I havent started using the snow storm ultra.
