Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Eguill17, Nov 27, 2018.

  1. I am new here and wanted to share a few pics of my first indoor grow. Cmh315. What do you guys think ? I have no idea what kind of yield to expect. The last pic is day 14 of 12/12.
    Thanks IMG_1614.JPG IMG_1613.JPG IMG_1532.JPG IMG_1612.JPG

  2. I have a MC OG seed I’m about to start germinating.

I little advice please don’t take this the wrong way. They look a little stretched. Maybe keep your lights a tad closer next time and you won’t have that much spacing between nodes other than that not bad man.

  3. Mint Chocolate Og is on my list to try..... @Growtogrow did those and probably can give some pointers of what she likes/dislikes.

For your 1st grow, she looks pretty darn good though you may want to check out some training techniques to really fill out that space ;)

Thanks for the replies, I agree plant totally looks stretched, i know lights could have been closer I will drop them ASAP I was worried about coverage, however I will note that outdoors this plant also stretched like crazy, it has that tendency. Also my first time doing any type of training. I will keep progress updated.
    Cheers !

  6. Hello Eguill17
    @MomOnThe Run

I have run the CMOG now 5 times and have 1 going now.

This is a great plant. I and my patient clients just love this plant it has a nice minty kind of creamy white chocolate taste and aroma. She smells a little bit like a candy shop. The effects are euphoric pain relieving definitely want to lay down after you smoke some. Nice buds a little leafy though but yet all of the resin that's on those leaves makes it worthwhile. You'll want to smoke the whole plant pretty much and the buds are very abundant on this plant. According to the breeder this plant can be anywhere from a small amount all the way up to 3 k for a yield and up to 25% THC.
I personally have gotten no less than 1K off all of my girls except for the very first girl I grew which was not intended to be a large grow but I still got almost a half a pound off her....

Eguill your girl looks a little gant.
She looks to me like she could use some things.

What are u feeding her ?

    315CMH light.
What bulb do you have in that light and how far from the top of the plant to the light is it ?

This plant is a easy plant to grow well suited for beginner grower inside or out.
It needs to be trained you can still train her at this age no problem put some strings ribbon grow tape whatever and get on those outside branches and pull them down some pull on about second node back on each branch and you can pull her down from there.
Pull her down so that the canopy will be all at the same height inside your grow tent she'll still be stretching now you're only 14 days into this 12-hour so she just started to turn on you about 4 or 5 days ago. am I right?
This plants is a very resilient plant and is very forgiving she takes to training very well.
I do all kinds of techniques so I have not found the best technique for this plant yet but training is definitely good for this plant. I've topped this plant and not topped.
    It Doesn't really matter
But topping at this point is not an option for you.
I've done a lot of different things with this plant she responds well to all of them so far that's why I say it's a very easy plant for beginner to run it's very forgiving.

Some pics of what you can expect from this plant I would have better pics for you but my pictures are all jumbled around in my phone. I got a bug in it and it moved my pictures everywhere so they're very hard to find now.

    Good luck [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  7. Hey, thanks for all of the info!
    I am feeding Dutch nutrients
Grow a&b for veg and about 2 weeks now I’ve used bloom a&b. With a half dose of cal/mag. I do dilute my feeding because I am paranoid of over doing it.
Light bulb is a Phillips elite Agro 3100k.
I will for sure try to get the canopy more even and will drop the light.
I appreciate the insight, I can’t wait to harvest some quality bud.

  8. Good idea..
dropping your light down that what you want to do that for sure get her down. My way of doing it is the same as pretty much everybody else if you're using a CMH or an HPS light put your hand in between the top of the plant or the top of the canopy and the light if the back of your hand within a minute or so is uncomfortable with the light heat shining down on it then it's too close to the plant move it up a little bit. In my experience the better buds get the more light on the them.
Whatever you're feeding it your not feeding it enough. Give it all that the maker of the nutrients you're using says so give it all to her. She can take it and it needs it it looks like to me it looks like it's Gant it needs some food she's starving give her what she wants and she'll give you what you want.
I wouldn't wait because she's a Fast flowering plant she will be done within 8 weeks 9 at the outside. And you're already two weeks into that. You want to give her what she wants and feed the shit out of her especially between now and the next 3 to 4 weeks give her all she can take you can't hurt this plant she's a good one.
I love this plants it's one of my favorite ones to grow. I've grown it in every grow this year and I plan to continue growing it.
I'm growing this plant out that I have in my garden right now for several reasons and starting a new seed next week when I start the rest of my new seeds for my second part of my inside grow and for my outside grow next year.

  9. Well..... things took a turn for the worst..
tried to spread the plant out a bit to help even out the canopy and the slightest movement broke the main branch.. really sucks. I have taped it (it was hanging by about 50%) I am guessing it’s going to stress out the plant and likely kill that internode.. IMG_1620.JPG

  10. Well that sucks... But it maybe fine. The tape is the right thing to do. You should support that branch so it wont move to much. She will heal fast. It dont look to bad and the CMOG is a tough plant.

  11. So I know it's tough breaking a plant I did this to the somango in my present grow two weeks ago the first 8 pics are of the incident.

The next 5 pics are of when I did some thinning out last week.

The last 3 pics are of her this morning.

So don't give up it might stress but more than likely the stress will help you develop more resin that's what the plant does when you super crop them although you're a little bit into flower already this still will help resin production usually we like to do this a couple of weeks before you go into flower but if it happens it happens it's the farmers way

  16. Branch break didn’t seem to do much, I am actually very surprised. I put some zip ties around the base to hold it strong. I wasn’t able to pull that branch back down because I am trying to repair it but here are a few pics anyway. IMG_1642.JPG IMG_1642.JPG IMG_1641.JPG IMG_1640.JPG IMG_1646.JPG

I picked up this bloom fortifier, any advise before I use. Seems very strong. But was recommended to me to put some weight on.
    IMG_1626.JPG
Here is what I have been using. IMG_1627.JPG
    Any info is appreciated.
    Thanks,

  17. Sorry my friend I've never used anything like that never even heard of that stuff.
I am about a 92% organic farmer so what little bit of chemicals I use is generally General Hydroponics I can't say that solely though I use other stuff I've never seen that tho. you'll just have to use it according to the instructions.

Pic this week.. I haven’t used the bloom fortifier. Still researching if it’s the right fit. Needless to say developing nicely. Flipped to 12/12 on nov 11.
